Marcus Rashford brightly began his loan spell at Barcelona, contributing to another goal in a 2-1 comeback victory for the La Liga Champions.
Marcus Rashford reminded Manchester United of his quality as he helped Barcelona win five times in a row. The 27-year-old Rashford continued his strong start in Catalonia when he defeated Real Sociedad 2-1 at his Barca home on Sunday.
La Liga Champions appeared to be heading towards halftime with a 1-0 deficit following Alvaro Odriozola’s opening goal. But just a minute before the board added extra time, Rashford whipped in the perfect corner of the 1 inch and found the head of a Jules Kaunde with an equalizer.
Robert Lewandowski then scored the winner in the second half to send Barcelona to the top of the table thanks to an incredible assist from Super Sable Mermain Yamal. Barca’s form will be little different to United’s form, which went on Saturday with his fourth loss in seven games and dropped 3-1 at Brentford.

Rashford’s parent club is in disarray, but England International is thriving with new teammates.
United head coach Reuben Amorim has seen an increasing pressure to put Cast Rashford aside almost a year ago. The Red Devils Academy graduate relentlessly decided that he was not part of his plan at Old Trafford.
Rashford, who joined Barcelona on a season-long loan in July, contributed five goals in eight games. The 27-year-old scored two goals in the opening match of the Champions League against Newcastle and currently has three assists in domestic action.
This is in stark contrast to United’s new forward line with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko, who have so far only had three goal involvement between them. It’s no wonder that talk of Rashford permanently staying with Barca has already skyrocketed.

However, according to Sky Sports, the Spanish champion is not in a hurry to decide on his long-term future as he is already negotiating an option to sign for £30 million at the end of this season.
After Sunday’s victory, Rashford posted on Instagram: “Great 3 Points! Let’s keep pushing.”
Barcelona boss Hansifrik is pleased with the Rashford display and said, “We’ve practiced a lot of deadball situations and it’s really important to have this strength. We’re very pleased with how it goes.”
Rashford hopes Barca host Paris Saint-Germain continues in the Champions League on Wednesday.
He is expected to maintain his position with the England team alongside Thomas Touchel as he plans to announce his latest call-up this week ahead of the international break in October.
