The continued failure of not getting adjustments from Reuben Amorim’s Manchester United players is under pressure, and the pathetic nature of their defeat at Brentford leaves the club’s hierarchy.
Reuben Amorim hasn’t been used to dealing with pressure since becoming Manchester United’s manager, but I feel this time it’s different.
Amorim has won 18 of 18 of United’s 49 games since November. As he approaches the responsibilities for a year, his players still look not good to play his prescribed formations. Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Brentford was not Nadir – that honor had to go to Grimsby – but that was still said.
United were completely abolished by the enemy, and their managers looked helpless to turn the tide. Amorim’s side is 14th in the Premier League, winning two of his six matches, with owner Ineo beginning to take the convulsions.
The looting of Amorim is a true possibility, even in the most rosy view of the part that struggles to see progress under the Portuguese boss. But if I sir Jim Ratcliffe and Co pull the plug, who should they replace them? Mirror football writers have a say.

Sorry, but I’m a Crystal Palace fan. Look away now. Oliver Glasner is currently the best and hottest managed property in the Premier League. If Manchester United makes a difference, he will fit perfectly.
Glassners are not a flash of bread. Unlike Reuben Amorim, he has the right job and real experience behind him. The work he did in the palace is incredible. They are hard to beat – they have not lost in the Premier League for nearly six months – and under him they won the first trophy in the club’s history. Now they are enjoying the European campaign. However, he also managed Wolfsberg and Eintrak Frankfurt – and won the Europa League.
If he hasn’t won the FA Cup and has such a great end to the season at Palace, he is absolutely certain he will now become RB Leipzig manager. Palace Chair Steve Parish did well to maintain Glasner amidst a strong interest. Glasner is also the manager of UP. That’s very important. He has energy, experience and improves his players. He would be perfect. But getting him isn’t easy…

Manchester United must bring a settled person to all the chaos of Old Trafford. Someone with experience and a level of head. Someone who makes the team better and get results. David Moe, anyone?
Moe may have tried but failed – to be spectacular – as his previous United Manager. But since then, he has become smarter and more capable as he gets older to deal with the all-consuming challenges of managing United.
He won the West Ham trophy and is currently doing a great job at Everton. They say you should never return, but if I was Sir Jim Ratcliffe, I was considering appointing Moe. This time the Scots never buried Ir Alex Ferguson boots.

Simone Inzagi is the man who will replace Manchester United’s Reuben Amorim. At Inter Milan, he spun a financially advantageous, patched team (ring the bells, United fans?) into gold. It’s just like the alchemy that Old Trafford is screaming for.
His three backing system completely slotted into United’s recent tactical changes, eliminating the need for another expensive team overhaul. More importantly, his robust, nonsense approach shakes United’s low-performance dressing room, instilling discipline and accountability where it is much needed.
Unlike tactically strict managers whose predictability is increasingly outdated, Inzagi thrives with flexibility. He adapts formation, spins players based on context, ensuring they thrive in the dynamic demands of modern games. His ability to balance sparks and defensive grit will also address United’s vulnerabilities while unlocking their offensive potential.
Inzaghi’s success proves that it is fake in two clubs that are plagued by high expectations but are plagued by contradictions (Inter and Lazio) and ready to revive a sleeping giant like United. He may have just joined Al-Hilal, but if the hook is enough to feed him, he will bite.

Reuben Amorim appears to be continuing his job before losing the power of Manchester United’s manager. The cold and difficult fact is that he was the worst since Fergie. They should be turning elsewhere and looking at the current Premier League managers who are successful in the UK. I think the Spurs are really wise to appoint Thomas Frank and believe he was a perfect fit for United.
Now he’s off the table, I’m looking at Andoni Iraaura. The work he did in Bournemouth is nothing short of astounding. Yes, he had a little money. However, Cherry is far apart at the smallest Premier League club, and at a glance at the stadium he is far above his weight.
Not only that, they do it by playing attractive football and bringing the game to their opponents, no matter who they are. They were close to securing European football last season and have already had an impressive start to this term so far, sitting in sixth place.
Old Trafford’s hot sheets are becoming poisoned holy grail, and it says it all when Iraaura might actually think about whether it’s worth it to actually get a United job. But if I was Jim IR, he would be my choice.

If Manchester United decides it’s time to break up with Reuben Amorim and pull the trigger, they’ll need someone to run to the ground. You also need someone who can play with the three centre-back systems, or someone who can cope with the atmosphere that appears to be just a minute away from becoming toxic.
Move forward through Gareth Southgate. One of his biggest cheerleaders, Dan Ashworth, may have left Old Trafford, but debates about his appointment remain. The question is whether the former England boss wants this to be his first foray back into management. It feels like a poisoned holy grail, but on the plus side, the club work Southgate took has attracted a lot of attention. England’s job felt like it was just as hidden when Southgate took the reins, and he was fine at the time. It’s certainly worth a try.

Perfect Reuben Amorim replacement? Reuben Amorim. There’s no other solution for Manchester United than going to the full Unai Emery and sticking to him, not repeating his name like Marco Bizot. If Ineos really wants to breed a new era in Old Trafford, they have to break the Groundhog Day Cycle. And even though they are adopted for his unique system, they are too deep with amorims.
How did it work for Lalfrungnik to be a temporary request for months? It is a situation that will be unified if they x him. Because it may work for the demoted-threatening aspect that can call firefighters at this point in the season, but it is very rare when you want to compete on the other side of the table. I’m firmly at the camp “giving time to managers.” So did Jim Ratcliffe.

Even after a poor start to the season United is experiencing, he is surprised to see Amorim leave. Ir Jim Ratcliffe seems determined to stick to his man no matter what. If he leaves, I feel that Oliver Glasner’s move is exactly like the employment they should go to. In my opinion, Glassner has the same reputation as Thomas Frank was heading towards Tottenham.
He has achieved too much at Crystal Palace and becomes like a manager who installs confidence on these players. My only fear is whether work will start to tire him. However, looking at the caliber of the players Glasner has managed and nurtured since his arrival at Selhurst Park, he must feel his appointment is realistic and a step in the right direction.
