Newcastle Star in an angry conflict with Arsenal coach after the late drama | Football | Sports

Newcastle United’s Jorington was caught up in a heated exchange with Arsenal coach after his final whilst at St James Park. Thanks to Gabriel Magalges’ last minute header, the Gunners scored a victory in a thrilling match at St. James Park. The touchline was a hotbed of tension as Mikel Arteta expressed dissatisfaction with the referee, but Newcastle assistant Jason Tyndal received the yellow card when no penalty was given after the ball hit Gabriel’s arm.

There was a clash between Gabriel and goalscorer Nick Ultemed in the first half, but he didn’t look as infuriated as Jollington’s. The Brazilian midfielder took off in the 94th minute, just two minutes before Arsenal completed his comeback. When Judge Jarred Girred Guillett called time in the match, Jorington created a beeline for Miguel Morina. The 29-year-old and the Arsenal coach were at a standoff, and Jollington pushed him before Jollington stepped in to ease the situation. Newcastle coach Simon Weatherstone took away the furious midfielder.

Arteta then compensated and tried to shake hands with Joelinton. The Newcastle player wasn’t that excited when he finally said goodbye to the Spaniard.

Following a poor defense from Gabriel, Waltemaid’s first half header gave Newcastle an advantage on Sunday during a game full of controversial Val’s decisions.

However, Arsenal managed to control ownership throughout and found a way to return to the contest at the moment of dying. Former Newcastle midfielder Mikel Merino leveled Arsenal’s score following Declan Rice’s delivery before the late drama unfolded.

Arteta was pleased to witness his team return to winning form and narrow the gap in the summit to two points.

“Yeah, the belief, the team’s belief that we are, and that we can play different kinds of games, and the team can continue to deliver it in a compelling way and win,” Arteta said after the game.

“And today, it’s one of the most difficult grounds. Again, I’d like to praise Newcastle, how they play, the competition, how difficult it is to play in this place. But the team has really taken the game to another level.

When asked about the pressure on his team following Liverpool’s defeat on Saturday, Arteta added:

Football analyst Gary Neville believes this weekend has seen a major change for gunners. “A week ago, the glass was half empty, but now it’s over half full,” he commented.

“Liverpool lost, Arsenal won in a fantastic way. They deserve it. They were a better football team.

“This shouldn’t swing the weekend early, but Liverpool players sitting at home after seeing this will probably sink a little.”
