Harry Kane was interested after finishing eighth and 13th, as Cole of Chelsea said earlier that he was “at his best.”

Not an ideal start to the season for Palmer, the injury limits his minutes.
Former Chelsea midfielder Cole hoped that incumbent No. 10 Palmer would give him a bit of a boost to his top 10 Ballon d’Or during difficult times.
“He’s there, he’s on that elite level player, so I’m happy with him that he got it,” Cole said in Palmer.
“These individual awards are amazing. Man of the Match, tournament players, they’re amazing – they finish everything, not everything.
“They’re great and it’s really great that he’s recognized for Cole Palmer, and I think it gives him a bit of a boost.”
Ward added: “About Cole Palmer, he still doesn’t have any reputation or story around him, so people will vote for him for his output and what he was on the pitch, and that will build his little story and reputation.
Meanwhile, Kane made history on Friday night with Bayern Munich’s 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen.
England’s best top goal scorer of all time played just 104 matches to reach Bayern’s century-long goal, beating the 105 of Ehringhaaland and Cristiano Ronaldo, which were achieved at Manchester City and Real Madrid, respectively.

Kane finally won his first major trophy last season when lifting the Bundesliga, and Ward suggested that the 32-year-old would actually be underestimated.
“I think you’re underestimating Harry Kane. He’s a very good scorer and I think he gets better as he gets older,” Ward said.
“He knows where to put himself, he plays for a team.
Meanwhile, Cole admitted that while the team is fully set for Munich’s Kane, they cannot ignore the vast number of goals they score.
“It’s a dream for him. I saw Bayern Munich and covered them in the Champions League,” Cole said.
“If Harry Kane could build up his team tactics, the players around him, how he played, they did that exactly – it was literally perfect for him, and he scores goals.
“That’s what he’s doing, put him in front of the net and he bangs it.”
