Liverpool was last-minute defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, with Edinketia scoring in the 6th of a minute instead. Palace winners came along in the early opening game from home side Isamila Sarr after Federico Chiesa leveled the Reds score in 87 minutes.
The result shows the first Premier League defeat of Arneslot’s team’s season following his defeat to Palace at Community Shield last month. Sport Rates and Slate Liverpool have some disappointing displays on the offense…
Allison Becker-8
He’s the man in the match despite being recognized as Liverpool’s best player twice. Great saves from Daniel Munoz, Yeremy Pinot and Jean Philippe Mateta kept Liverpool in the game longer than they should have.
Conor Bradley-5
Although it was a bit unlucky to admit the corner for the opener, Bradley left the palace with Pinot and Tyrick Mitchell. He showed more promise to move forward towards halftime, but was eventually replaced.
Ibrahima Conate-4
Conate gave the palace two major opportunities in the first half, which seemed to be kind of massive. He should also score from the first half corner where he headed farther. Reserved and replaced.
Virgil Van Dijk -6
Van Dick snatched some clearances rather than his usual composed self. However, he maintained a decent line in the second half as Liverpool was pushed high.
Milos Kerquez-5
With no winger in front of him in the first half, Kerkez tried to provide the urge to minimize the attack and attack to the left. He had more success before him in the second half.
Ryan Graven Burch-6
Despite the misguided header that inadvertently assisted the palace opener, he showed a flash of glow in the middle, almost scoring on a shot that hit the post in the first half. His efforts helped Liverpool raise the pressure after the break.
Alexis Mac Allister -5
He struggled to penetrate the dense midfield of the palace, and was often overwhelmed by his enemies. He managed a good pass to release ISAK later before becoming a replacement.
Dominik Szoboszlai -7
The only Liverpool player to demonstrate real fire and quality before halftime, supported Conate’s chances and switched to right back in the second half, delivering a good cross to Wirtz.
Mohamed Sarah-4
Sarah’s performance was unlustered, he struggled with basics and offered little defence in the future. In the second half, he shot a goal-bound Szoboszlai shot at the bar.
Alexander Isaac-4
His first Premier League start clearly lacked sharpness and had not been trained with the team for a long time. He missed a decent opportunity before settling in the second half, but to be fair, he made himself an opportunity with a dribble.
Florian Wirtz -5
He worked hard to find space in his free role, but his possessions were of no quality. He improved in the second half when he played as No. 10. I missed an absolute sitter at Liverpool 1-0.
Alternatives
