More despair for Reuben Amorim and CO to claim Brentford will beat Man United
Igor Thiago netted the brace as Brentford put Reuben Amorim under pressure with a 3-1 victory over Manchester United and awaited consecutive league wins as the Red Devils boss.
The host stole the front in eight minutes as the Brazilian jumped into Jordan Henderson’s long pass and thundered a 15-yard strike into the top corner.
The bees doubled the tally 12 minutes later when Thiago left the house after Parry of Altai Bay Indeal from Kevin Shade’s cross-shot.
At this point, United were especially bullied in pieces in the set, but visitors reduced their arrears 30 minutes before Benajimin Sesco filled the rebound to hide the club’s first goal.
The Red Devils were the first XI to be with Sesco, Matthews Cuña and Brian Mbeumo, and the latter two were combined in a move where the original bee star was defeated for a penalty.
However, goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher saved Bruno Fernandes’ spot kick and sealed the points by firing Mathias Jensen with a third of beauty from Stoppage-Time.
As a result, Brentford moves to 11th place with seven points from six games. United sits just below the bees on the 13th at the same point, but their goals are poorer.
Man United will then host Sunderland on Saturday, while Brentford will be at Man City’s home on Sunday weekly.
