Dialo misses the Brentford game

Manchester United will not be able to call Amado Diallo for a match against Brentford on Saturday.

Diallo suffers from the bereavement of his family and has been criticised for a social media post he filmed with Alejandro Garnacho last week.

Speaking to the press on Friday, United manager Reuben Amorim said, “I’ve always told players: shutting down social media.

“Today, that’s the price you have to pay, but what’s important is the real life of the club and friends, Amado, we’re here for him.

“It’s a tough moment for him, and at this moment the next game is not important. We can win this game without Amado and we want to win for him.”

Brentford waits for Nelson

Brentford confirmed that Reiss Nelson missed a week of training because he was sick.

The Arsenal player on loan is now back on the team. He has a chance to play Manchester United this Saturday.

Gustavo Nunes and Paris Maghoma are still looking for a perfect match fitness.

Palmer out for three weeks as Chelsea hopes to avoid surgery

At this point, the club doesn’t think he needs surgery, but it’s taking a careful approach.

“Yes, we decided to protect Cole a bit in terms of not making his injury worse,” Maresca said ahead of his match against Brighton this weekend.

“We decided to take a two to three weeks off the international break and see if that rest will help him recover 100% and become healthy after the international break.

“I don’t think he needs surgery, but it’s just to manage the pain in his gro caliber. We decided to be a little conservative with him.”

He added that while Wesley Fofana has recovered from a concussion, defender Tosin Adarabioyo will be playing for a similar period due to calf issues.

He said at a press conference Friday: “Tosin is injured. He’ll probably go out to an international break. He has a small calf problem. Wes Fofana suffered a concussion against Lincoln. The rest is fine.”

Leoni misses a year after the ACL is blown away

Liverpool manager Arne Slot confirmed at a press conference that Giovanni Leoni will be coming out for about a year.

The Italian teenager is torn through his anterior cruciate ligament, and the severity of his injury means that for Leoni there is a long way to go.

Advances the match against Crystal Palace in London tomorrow, Slot said: “He tore his ACL apart, so he’s not in a good place.

“I’m very young, I’m coming to a new country and playing really well in my first game, so it’s very difficult to get something positive.

“There’s never a positive side, but he’s still very young. He’s been doing it for years after recovering from a terrible injury.”

Slot also suggested that striker Alexander Isak is not yet fully fit, and that he won’t play a perfect match tomorrow.

He added: “He can make a few minutes again, but playing 90 depends on the pace and intensity of the game.

“You can give him 90 people to give him one stupid hit, but I don’t think it’s wise to play him in ’90.

“He’s now moving on to the preseason, but usually after two or three weeks in the preseason, players will be 60-70 minutes. Some clubs will be 90, but when you look at the preseason, they’re mainly 60-70.”

“No Updates” by Noni Maduke

Mikel Arteta was unable to provide details on Noni Maduce’s injuries.

A weekly report suggested that a winger’s knee injury could keep him out for up to two months, but Arteta told players there was “no update.”

Arteta added that he hopes Martin Odegard is worthy of playing against Newcastle.

Howe is cautious about Murphy and Ramsey.

Eddie Howe of Newcastle believes Jacob Ramsey will be away for a while and is expected to return after an international break, but he could potentially return sooner.

He said ahead of his weekend game against Arsenal: “His recovery is on track and he’s working hard and rebuilding his fitness.

“The plan was that he would go back to the first game after an international break before us (back) and if it was earlier than that, of course he would be ahead of schedule.”

In Jacob Murphy, he said he fits well enough for the winger to be chosen, but he has an Achilles issue that needs to be handled carefully, saying, “He’s fine, and that’s the issue we manage.

“He’s in a healthy place where he can be used, but we’re trying to manage his load.”

Guardiola makes sure Haaland is ready for Burnley

Pep Guardiola confirmed that Striker Erling Haaland is “ready” for his match against Burnley at Etihad.

However, he confirmed many other injuries issues, saying, “Rayan Ait-Nouri and Rayan Cherki, No. Omar Marmoush and Abdukodir Khusanov, No. MateoKovacic, maybe.

Of the Kovacic, he said, “There are a lot of things to get Kova back. It’s a long injury, surgery, but he’s ready. He’s not fully prepared, but in a gradual stage.”
