He swapped NASA DJs before leading the bid to buy Tottenham Hotspur and establishing himself as a high-tech entrepreneur. Sun reports that a consortium, led by America’s Brooklyn Earac, is looking at the club. It comes weeks after two expressions of interest were turned down by Enic, the majority shareholder of the Spurs, controlled by the Lewis family.

The debate between Earick and Club, which was still in charge by former chairman Daniel Levy, is believed to have been gathering pace since his amazing exit was confirmed earlier this month. The 12 powerful consortiums, said to feature NFL and NBA supporters, are ready to buy £4.5 billion at the club, £3.3 billion to buy shares in the Enic and Lewis family, as well as £1.2 billion that could be accessed after January. That total amount overturns the £4.25 billion record when the Todd Berry consortium was shelled for Chelsea in 2022.

Who is Brooklyn Earac?

The 41-year-old Earac certainly has a life of eclecticism. He devoted a decade to DJing and music production, entertaining North American and European audiences while simultaneously developing a passion for football. He said in 2011:

“I always associate it with soccer. Soccer is huge everywhere in the world and I’ve just started making a bit of steam here in America. That’s the same as electronic music.”

However, after being “burned out” in the music scene, he achieved a dramatic career change by securing his position as an electrician at NASA. In an interview in 2016, he explained: “I spent most of the decade as a DJ and music producer. I played shows from the US, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, LA to New York, London and Ibiza.

“I’m very fortunate to do it, but I definitely burned out towards the end. So I turned off my headphones and moved to San Francisco and got an internship at NASA Ames as an electrical engineer in the small spaceship division.

“NASA was the first place I was exposed to computer programming. I quickly realized how powerful it was and liked the fact that if I had an idea I could open my computer and start right away. So I started taking online courses in both coding and design, book reading and brainstorming ideas.”

The expertise developed while working at NASA led to subsequent career transitions in the tech industry, where he worked on numerous projects and established high-level connections. Earick edited the RND. This is described as “the thought leader in blockchain innovation and digital assets.”

Blockchain is a way of selling and recording digital currencies such as crypto. He also runs a technology-centric investment fund called Algorith Capital. Earlier this year, he was on the verge of buying the Maserati MSG Formula E team, but the deal fell apart.

Why Tottenham?

Apart from last season’s Europa League victory, Tottenham endured a barren spell with regard to silverware. But apart from this action, the club represents an incredible victory courtesy of their epic stadiums, widely considered at the world’s most spectacular sports venues.

The Spurs generate around £4.8 million from all home fixtures, but commercial revenues have surged by a staggering 237% when measured against the final full campaign at the former White Hartrain. The London location is also a draw, and certainly appeals to future buyers from overseas.

An insider familiar with the earrings said, “Brooklyn and his team think it’s all right in Tottenham.

“The Spurs have world-class stadiums and training grounds, and all the infrastructure is in place, but with the investment ready, this is the final step to turn the club into a winner on the pitch.”

Spurs acquisition stance

“Tottenham Hotspur is not on sale,” according to a club statement earlier in September, revealing that Amanda Starley’s PCP International Finance and a consortium of investors led by Dr. Roger Kennedy and Wing Phi are interested in buying the North London club.

ENIC controls 87% of the Spurs, but given the remaining shares are publicly available, the club will be classified as a UK acquisition code. Therefore, any indication of interest or offer must be submitted to the acquisition code panel and made public.

Sources close to the Lewis Family Trust have confirmed that they are not informed of the consortium ready to buy Tottenham, and have repeatedly said that the club is not for sale.
