It could have been a difficult start to life on the pitch for Manchester United, but the Red Devils are at least taking steps to build for the future in their transfer deal. That’s because United is reportedly locked up in a contract to sign talented Colombian youth Christian Orozco.

That suggests United have agreed to a deal with Orozco’s current team, Fortaleza CEIF, according to a report from Colombia. They took away trade on Colombia’s top flights, and Orozco caught the eye of United scouts.

Orozco is primarily deployed as a holding midfielder and has a cannynack to wipe out opposition attacks. Additionally, Orozco is also a rising star in Colombia’s youth ranks and was impressed by the recent under-17 South American Championships where Colombia reached the final.

Fans hoping to get a glimpse of the talented teen are forced to wait a while considering they are not planning to join United after their 18th birthday next year. However, the only genius rumored to put pens on paper for a move to the Premier League side is not 17 years old.

Mouhamed Dabo is another young man on the brink of the Old Trafford Switch, reporting that African feet are on the verge of completing in the last 24 hours. Dubbo was reportedly on trial at United for several weeks, and the coach was impressed by his teenage ability.

Dabo ticked all the boxes in terms of clean tackle, vision, calmness, ball control, leadership, tireless work, progressive passing and pace control. If they got a deal across the line, United would have dodged interest from Barcelona, considering they enjoyed a month’s internship at the famous Ramasia Academy on the Spanish side.

Reports from Spain suggest that Barcelona is eager to sign Dabo to their academy, but he was under the age of 18 at the time – so that FIFA rules don’t happen. They wanted to make an oral agreement with Senegale Youth International, but their attempts never came to fruition.

Since Ir Jim Ratcliffe arrived at the club, several young stars have been signed in the club’s book, which is part of a coordinated effort to recruit future futures from Ineos and United. Aiden Haven, Diego Leon, Chido Obi and Sekou Kohn were all brought with a long-term perspective in mind.
