Mainoo is eager to keep his World Cup dreams alive and wants to force him back to the three Lions stars ahead of next summer. Mainoo was the star of Euro 2024, which began in the final against Spain in Berlin, but has been ignored since Thomas Tuchel replaced Gareth Southgate.
Tuchel’s decision to see elsewhere came with Mainoo becoming annoyed person at Old Trafford with his lack of action. He struggled with a regular start under Amorim and his career has retreated over the past 12 months. And in his frustration, Mainoo remains enthusiastic if things don’t improve at United to seal off the loan move in the next transfer window.

The 20-year-old has only been a four-time contestant this season, starting one match in United’s humiliating Carabao Cup defeat.
Mainoo wanted to leave for the summer as he is looking for more regular action. It appears that Amorim has determined that he is in a direct competition with club captain Bruno Fernandez in the middle. However, the club boss refused his plea for the Loan move.
He has accepted this decision and worked hard to agree with himself. However, despite the poor start of United’s new campaign, Mainoo has discovered that little has changed.
Amorim had private consultations with Mainoo last week and was told he was still part of his plan, but is being challenged to do more to fight for his place in the team.
Tuchel makes it clear that he will not consider calling Maine to his team until he secures more minutes on the pitch. Therefore, Mainoo admits that he has no choice but to request another loan move elsewhere in January.
Mainoo is eager to fly for the finals in the US, Canada and Mexico next summer, and knows that if he is watching United, there is no chance of this happening.
