Marcus Rashford was removed from Barcelona’s starting lineup for a LA La Liga conflict with Gatafe on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford broke the silence on social media following reports that he was dropped on disciplinary grounds by Barcelona manager Hansi Flick. England moved to the Catalan Giants on an in-season loan agreement from Manchester United during the summer transfer.
Barcelona has the option of purchasing £206 million for Old Trafford Academy products, covering his entire salary. The 27-year-old has shown a form of encouragement on his recent outing, providing an assist in a clash with Valencia before finding the net twice against Newcastle United in Champions League action.
However, the striker found himself relegated to a bench for alternatives to Barca’s Laliga equipment on Sunday night.

According to Athletics, Rashford was benched after arriving late for matchday training.
Flick is well known for his strict policy of refusing to start players arriving late to training sessions and team meetings.
Rashford appears to be on a growing list, including Rafinha, Jules Condo and Inaki Pena.
The forward took to Instagram after appearing in place on Sunday night.
“+3 points, Vamos Equipo (Let’s Go Team),” he wrote, posting along with his image of himself actually moving during a Getafe match.
When asked about his decision to bench Rashford over the weekend, Barcelona boss Flick said:
“I saw it in Fermin. He played for minutes. We have to take that into consideration. We scored three points 3-0. Everything is great. We need to focus on the game.
“We scored three goals, but scoring three goals against a strong team is not always easy.
“I don’t want to talk about my opponents. I want to talk about my team. I need to focus on the game and the planning.”
