Liverpool has been ruthless at the start of the season, winning all five Premier League matches, and Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca admits they can move on to the point they’re already ahead
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca fears that Liverpool’s fast start to the season could be “unable to catch them” with the Reds, who already boast a five-point lead after just five games. They are the only Premier League side with a 100% record.
Their victory in the Merseyside Derby expanded the perfect start to defend their title, and Arne Slot’s team continued to climb Trump.
Liverpool issued an early statement when they defeated Arsenal at Anfield. The Reds are also supported by late winners against Bournemouth, Newcastle and Burnley.

A draw between Arsenal and Manchester City on Sunday gave Liverpool an even better advantage. When things stand, the champion is five points away from the gunner.
That happens after they spend more than £400 million on new employees, breaking the travel record from the UK twice, landing Florian Wharts, and then defeating Alexander Isaac.
While Maresca’s Chelsea may have had a loose hope of promoting his ambitions in the term, the Italians have already argued that the Reds may be too far away.
He states:
“They have done a great job since last year. The players they decided to buy are showing they are planning to go back to the Premier League and the Champions League again. That’s very clear.”
The perfect start to Liverpool’s season has expanded to the European stage. They won the opening Champions League match against Atletico Madrid at Anfield. Despite wasting a 2-0 lead, the English side climbed up the Trumps in stop time as Virgil Van Dick headed for the winner.
The Reds are looking to win back-to-back league titles for the first time since the 1980s, making them the perfect position to do so. Their recruitment helped them enjoy a fierce start while they wanted them to fight in both fronts.
Arsenal was leaned as the most likely challenger, but Gunners already have their own issues.
Mikel Arteta is being questioned by Mikel Arteta after spending his big again in the summer, but he has yet to find the ideal winning formula from his star-studded team.
