Liverpool had sent an emotional message to Mohamed Sara after it was confirmed that the forward missed the 2025 Barondoor Awards. The Egyptians did not secure the top three spots. Liverpool’s No. 11 Sarah came in fourth and fourth. The Reds released the news across social media platforms in their first post, followed by a encouraging message for Sarah if he was disappointed by the outcome. The caption reads as “Season to taste from Sarah” and a Red Heart emoji.
The message was particularly touching on Instagram, where Liverpool posted a carousel of memorable moments from the successful campaign of the 33-year-old’s 2024/25 campaign.
The first image shows the Egyptian sitting in front of Anfield’s KOP on the final day of last season, proudly wearing the medals of the Premier League winners, and the League Trophy, Premier League Player Awards for Season, Golden Boot Awards, Playmaker Awards and FWA Football of the Year Awards on display before him.
In the second photo, Sarah, who was awarded the Season Award PFA Player Award, was awarded at a ceremony held in Manchester last month.
