Mohamed Sarah received a wave of support from both his current and former teammates after being overlooked for Baron de Or. Liverpool’s sense has been confirmed to be fourth in the 2025 accolades vote.
The result comes after the campaign in which Sarah scored an extraordinary 34 goals across all Liverpool competitions, contributed 23 assists and promoted the Reds to Premier League glory. Sarah has also begun the current season in an impressive way, with three goals and three assists already under his belt. However, it proved not enough to land him the Baron de Ort.
He was picked up by Bitinja of Paris Saint-Germain, Laminyarmal of Barcelona, and Victor Hausman Dembele at night. Sarah opposed attending the prestigious Monday night ceremony in Paris.
Following the announcement of his position, Liverpool showed the support of their strikers. They shared multiple photos of the Egyptian Ace with a message accompanied by “season to taste from Sarah” and a Red Heart.
Several of Sarah’s current teammates, including Connor Bradley, Hugo Echicchique, Milos Kerkez and Ryan Gravenbellch, all “liked” it and supported the post.

Additionally, his former Liverpool colleague, Louis Diaz, also expressed his appreciation for the collection of images. Sarah’s Barondoor ranking follows the claims of former Egyptian International and Premier League strikermid that his fellow countrymen deserve praise.
