PSG’s Sunday night clash with Marseille was postponed due to weather conditions and is now taking place on Monday night – Clash with Barondoor
PSG has eight current players nominated for Barondoor, ahead of the Monday night awards ceremony, but the French champion will play Marseille at the same time after the game is postponed for 24 hours.
The Parisians were traveling south of the south of France to play in the country’s biggest fixture, the Le Classic, but weather conditions meant they couldn’t play the game on Sundays. The rules for Ligue 1 state that they have to play after 24 hours, leading to a nasty clash.

He and his highly rated teammate Desire Doue were another candidate and were not included in Luis Enrique’s team due to Marseille’s match due to injuries. That means they have to make choices about participating in matches and ceremonies.
However, many of the other teammates need to keep their focus on the game as PSG bids to win five games in the opening five. Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz, Nuno Mendes and Joao Neves are all candidates. Gianluigi Donnarma, who recently traded Paris for Manchester City, has also won an award.

The main threat to Dembele, who won the Barondore, is the Barcelona Sensory Raminyarmal. The Spanish star won a domestic double with Catalonia and enjoyed some great moments in the Champions League before his team was knocked out in the semi-finals.
Marseille issued a statement on Sunday to confirm that their fixture against PSG has been postponed to Monday, a storm is expected in the region, and two major events will take place simultaneously in France.
“The Olympics des Marseilles acknowledge the Bouche du Roones decision to postpone the scheduled OM-PSG match tonight for security reasons related to weather conditions in the region.
Last year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony was overshadowed by the then European champion Real Madrid refused to attend the event when their main Light Vinicius JNR leaked to miss the top award for City Star Rodri.
