Arsenal was late to create a moment of true quality for Gabriel Martinelli to snatch a draw with Manchester City. The people of North London were late early, but kept pushing the equalizer when they arrived at Nick in time. The revocation in the back allowed Erling Haaland to score early, and the gunners struggled to carve out opportunities for an equalizer.

The hosts improved significantly in the second half and began to build up pressure. Eventually, they found a breakthrough in the 93rd minute when Martinelli came out of the bench for Rob Home. City lifted Ante in a closing exchange in search of a dramatic winner, but they were unable to stick with it, and spoilers were shared in the final whi.

Following today’s dramatic draw, Arsenal players will be slate with sports fees…

Arsenal Player Rating vs Man City

David Raya-6

He couldn’t blame the goal because of a defensive revocation of his concentration.

Julien wood – 6

There was a decent game and made things happen on the right side of the pitch. Reserved for Jeremy Doc tag.

Gabriel Magalges-5

He left a huge gap that Haaland misused. Not his best performance.

William Salliver-6

While trying to protect Haaland’s early strike, he didn’t hide himself in glory, but otherwise he was fine.

Riccardo calafiori -6

They showed little hesitation to bomb the movement before to participate in attacking, but there was no final product.

Martin Zubimendi -6

His work went well enough and he kept ticking things down the middle of the park. I went nearby with effort from the area.

Mikel Merino-5

He had little possession except for a safe pass to those around him. Hook at intervals.

Declan Rice-6

I was given a creative role without Martin Odegaard, but I struggled to make an impact. It fell deep in the second half.

Noni Maduke -7

I worked hard to create a chance from the right side. He’s the best player on the home side before he was replaced on a break.

Leandro Trossard -5

Most of the opening 45 minutes will be anonymous. It was more involved in the second half, but it wasn’t worth mentioning.

Viktor Gyoker- 5

Overall, I saw the yards from the pace and often couldn’t get myself into the right area.

Alternatives

Eberechi Eze -7

They had to be involved as much as possible and start the match. Provided assistance to Martinelli’s goals.

Bukayosaka-6

It came in the second half. It looked lively when Arsenal hunted the slow leveler.

Gabriel Martinelli-7

It created a moment of true quality to equalize to downtime. Clutch cameo from the bench.

Ethan Nuwaneri-6

When he was introduced in the final stages it brought some urgency.

Christian Mosquera-N/A

He was introduced after Martinelli’s goal and only plays for a few minutes.
