Manchester United are off to a tough start to the season and are currently 14th in the Premier League table after four games.
Manchester United’s final position at the Premier League table was predicted after a recent defeat in the Manchester Derby. United were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, finishing third in all competitions with the second league defeat of the campaign.
Reuben Amorim’s team has only won one in five in all competitions this season. There is no European football to play this season, and early exits from the Carabao Cup to the town of Grimsby have put pressure on Amorim’s position.
United are currently 14th in the Premier League table after four games, with new predictions emerging as to what the final table will look like.
Opta analysts have already predicted the final Premier League ranking once 38 fixtures are recycled. The forecast believes United will finish the campaign in 14th place with 47 points (47.22).

If this prediction is accurate, United will have another season with Old Trafford without European football.
The 14th place finish is the only way to compete in Europe to win the FA Cup and earn a spot in the Europa League.
Nottingham Forest is tilted to finish just above United in 13th place (47.36), while Fulham is projected to be slightly below the Reds in 15th place (47.11).
Like Fulham, United are expected to finish on West Ham and Leeds will finish at United at the final Premier League table, while Sunderland, Wolves and Burnley are expected to face relegation.
As for the Premier League champions, Liverpool is the club to maintain the crown with 80 points (80.41), while Arsenal is second with 74 points (74.48).
United will have a tough run on the fixtures as pressure is put on Amorim to turn the tide at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils will return to Premier League action on Saturday, September 20th, playing Chelsea host.
United will then travel to GTECH Community Stadium to compete with Brentford next Saturday. Afterwards, we welcome the newly promoted Sunderland to the Theatre of Dreams. Anfield’s intense derby will follow against Liverpool, followed by a rigorous test with Brighton Landing on Saturday, October 25th.
