Arne Slot suggests that Alexander Isak’s experience in English football could help him find top form at Liverpool before Florian Wirtz. Two massive summer signatures were first used at Start 11 on Wednesday night. Red was delayed again to beat Atletico Madrid.

“That might say it might be different to signing a 20-year-old from a different league than the 25-year-old he played in this league.
This is a slightly different story for Wirtz, who is 22 years old and adapting to a new country and new team. And Slot claims he needs patience before he hits the strap completely.
He states:
“We all know how quality he has, but sometimes people forget that he is 22 years old, the first time he goes abroad.
“I’m 47 now. Today is my birthday, but last year I came when I was 46. I know that I first worked abroad.
Slot added: “Combining that with going to a new club, (Bayer) Leverkusen played 3-4-3 and played 4-3-3, so I’ll ask a little more from the ball and ask the defensive too.
“But you can see him grow, grow and grow and grow more and more. I think that’s what you can expect from a quality player.”
