Liverpool has linked Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez’s move in the summer transfer window, with player agents now talking about speculation
Representative Julian Alvarez claimed that Liverpool submitted a bid to the Atletico Madrid striker during the summer transfer period. The Reds reportedly were keen to land the former Manchester City Ace at the beginning of the summer, then focused elsewhere.
Liverpool could rise Hugo Ekitique from Aintrak Frankfurt to £79 million, and the French forward was impressed by his early tenure at Anfield. Speculation linking Alvarez to Anfield won a club record of £125 million before the final capture of Reds Alexander Isaac from Newcastle United.
However, that speculation surrounding Liverpool’s Alvarez pursuit has declined after the Reds returned to July for Ekitique and Isaac.

Fernando Hidalgo, the current striker representative, has revealed his claim that Arne Slot’s team is chasing his clients.
“There were no official offers from Liverpool to sign Julian last season. Everything that was said in this respect is false,” Hidalgo told Elem News.
“There was no offer as Atletico de Madrid didn’t want to sell the players last summer, so there was no negotiation.”
The Argentine striker has scored 30 in 60 appearances in the La Liga Liga outfit, and has scored and assisted in four top flights in Spain’s top flight this season.
The Liverpool Echo will miss out on the opportunity to feature against Liverpool when the Reds face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
The 25-year-old suffered a knee injury after Atleti’s victory over Villarreal over the weekend.
“We need to look at the positive side,” Simeone said as he discussed injuries to key players like Alvarez ahead of tonight’s game. “Players coming in will have the opportunity to show what they can do.
“Missing players are part of the game, focusing on who can play tomorrow.
“We will face extraordinary enemies in the epic stadium along with incredible fans, coaches who have led his team to the top level, and they competed very well in the Champions League last season and won the league.
“We have tough opponents, but we’ll try to hurt them tomorrow with the game as much as we can.”
