5 Things Ruben Amorim must change immediately in Man Utd before a bag meeting

Manchester United got off to another horrifying start to the season, putting pressure on Reuben Amorim.

Reuben Amorim is facing a critical game run as he tries to save his job as Manchester United manager. Amorim is under great pressure after exacerbating his disastrous record with the club following a 3-0 defeat by Manchester City on Sunday.

The defeat confirmed United’s worst start to the season since 1992/93, meaning Amorim’s record was standing with eight wins from 31 Premier League matches since their arrival in November. The Portuguese boss knows that such form cannot be followed, and he knows that his side is 14th in four-points in four games.

Miller Football understands that Amorim has lost the trust of some of his senior players, and understands that the next three games against Chelsea, Brentford and Sunderland will determine his fate before a two-week international break. United’s chiefs will meet at the start of the international break in October to assess where they stand.

United won only once this season, but even that game required a second-half penalty from Bruno Fernandez to beat Burnley. Their problem is blatantly evident in a penalty defeat by Grimsby in the Carabao Cup, with Amorim facing Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday evening and need to improve soon. Below are five things Amorim needs to do the right thing to keep up with his work.

1. Decide the No. 1 goalkeeper

The goalkeeping division has been in turmoil at United for a while. Andre Onana has disappeared and is loaned to Trabzonspor, but that hasn’t solved the problem. Altay Bayindir has played all four Premier League games this season, but he doesn’t respect the level he needs.

Amorim chose to throw £18.2 million on the Derby shooting line over the weekend, but certainly he can’t stick with Bay Indeal. United chose Rammens to Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez and Gianluigi Donnaruma, who went to the city instead, so they clearly believed in the 23-year-old Belgian. Amorim cannot delay decisions anymore. The story of Rammen, who is used to the various British balls, is laughable.

2. Solve the mid-point problem

Everyone knows that. It’s no longer originality to point out United’s midfield is not functioning properly. Amorim is stuck with the 3-4-3 formation in which Fernandez’s partner looks at either Casemilo or Manuel Ugarte in the middle of the two. It’s not going well.

Fernandez is United’s best and most creative player. He doesn’t want to defend himself deeply, and he does his best to move forward further with his creative license. Meanwhile, Casemiro now runs around the pitch and lacks mobility to cover the gap, and Ugarte is not convincing either. Amorim doesn’t trust Kobbie Mainoo to play as a defensively oriented midfield, but something needs to be changed.

3. Show more flexibility

The middle issue comes from Amorim’s reluctance to adapt. He plays the same system regardless of who he is. At first there was patience upon his arrival, and fans knew it would take some time for players to get used to his ideas, but now they’re tired of it not working.

“You talk about his philosophy, his theatrical style, his way of playing,” United legend Paul Scholes pointed out this week about The Good The Bad and the Football Podcast. “There are so many smart coaches in the UK and around the world. They solve that very easily. They know exactly how United plays each week.

“When the seat in the game comes an hour before the game, how your opponent plays, five in the back, four in the back? With Amorim, everyone knows.

4. Get Sesko services

Faced with that, Benjamin Sesco endured a disastrous start at United following a £73.7 million move from RB Leipzig. He made five appearances without scoring. It’s a stark contrast to things like Liverpool’s Hugo Ekichique and Arsenal’s Victor Gyoker.

Sesko has the ability to perform at this level, scoring 21 goals for Leipzig last season, but needs service. Bryan Mbeumo was the best of the new arrivals, but it doesn’t link well with the heart of Slovenia.

Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker know a few things about the striker and believe he is hungry for supply. “He must be thinking, “Danger? A chance to give something here?” Chasing something, some crosses,” Shearer said for the rest of the article it’s a football podcast. Speaking about the Derby, Lineker added:

5. Generate team spirit

Fernandez has been constantly forced to protect himself from experts who believe he is not a Captain Material. He did so again this week, explaining his passionate personality by saying that he will not change. Amorim is not trying to strip the captain’s best player, but he was able to pull his teammates together.

United don’t look like a team pulling in the same direction, Fernandez throws his arms into the air, arguing with the referee, and generally wears no mind on his sleeves. All United need is someone who inspires their teammates and can sing them all from the same hymn sheet.

Despite not playing in Europe this season, there is no time for team building exercise, so there is muddy obstacle courses and paintballs coming out, but Amorim can probably have a clear team meeting.
