Regarding the criticism thrown into Amorim’s way, he added: “Obviously people say ‘Amorim out’, but you have to look at the player. Some of them don’t fit the system so I’m not thinking about it.

Rather than a full show of support for former sports bosses, it’s a suggestion that Amorim could still be the best person for the job. Club World Cup champion Chelsea travels to Old Trafford, not too easy for anyone who united with Amorim this weekend.
Littler may not need to see United’s next Premier League outing, given that he is taking part in the Euro Tour action in the Hungarian darts trophy. He plans to set up this time for the Litler for the busiest part of his DARTS schedule.
