Reuben Amorim faces a critical period as Manchester United head coach, with the next three games effectively deciding his future at Old Trafford. The upcoming league match against Sunderland will be United’s eighth match of the season, with manager Amorim fully aware that his position is under scrutiny unless he can guide his team towards a winning streak.
Possible successors to Amorim include Oliver Grasner of Crystal Palace, former England manager Gareth Southgate, Marco Silva of Fulham and Andniiraola of Bournemouth.
Mauricio Pockettino, the former Tottenham boss who currently leads the US national team and previously linked to United’s job when 10 hugs were appointed, will also be considered a potential candidate for the Old Trafford Hot Seat if Amorim is rejected.
