The Rangers boss has already ringing a potential alternative to Russell Martin. The bomb appeared at tonight’s Hotline Live alongside Daily Records’ Keith Jackson and Scott McDermott.
The Ibrox hierarchy faces pressure to take action as Martin, the first choice for top position, will host one of the club’s most disastrous campaigns of its celebrity. They crashed out of the Champions League and remained without winning with five premier outs after losing to Hart.
The Rangers have made it clear to their position that Martin’s work is safe for now, but in closed rooms they prepare for the future without him through discussions with multiple potential candidates.
Jackson revealed on live broadcast Tuesday that such a decision could come as soon as this weekend if he endures another set-off against Hibernian in the Premier Sports Cup.
He explained: “We know that we have a call and that there is a back channeling going on, and the Ranger is currently talking about potential alternatives if they decide they can’t back up Russell Martin.

“It sounds so to me like they’re trying to get something in place in case the Rangers play the Hibbs in the quarterfinals of the League Cup this weekend and they’re forced to do what they did this weekend.
“They have to do this. That shouldn’t come as a really big surprise. But it underscores the dangerous nature of Russell Martin’s position.”
continued Scott McDermott, who attended the press room for that post-match briefing, which saw Martin witness rage from supporter media.
“That doesn’t surprise me (an accidental plan). To be honest, Kevin Telwell isn’t doing his job properly if he doesn’t know who the next manager will be.
“It’s the job of a sports director, and even if the manager is doing well, it’s your job to look at the round corners and know who the next manager will be.
