Reuben Amorim loses the man’s UTD dressing room when senior players turn him on | Soccer|Sports

Reuben Amorim is fighting to maintain the trust of the Manchester United team after the humiliating derby collapse. Sunday’s defeat at the hands of Manchester City has strengthened Amorim’s scrutiny, and the Portuguese boss is now fighting for his position. Several United’s experienced players are considered increasingly frustrated and confused by Amorim’s stubborn adherence to his tactical approach.

His inflexible 3-4-3 system and alternative setups are understood to be unwilling and sparking a major alarm among influential team members. Some United stars reportedly feel that Amorim is doing harm by continuing to require them to operate within a framework that is not suitable for them to run.

Based on Amorim, Heat designed a turnaround for United following Dismal Campaign Opening, scoring just four points from four games.

United Insider claims that “nothing has changed” when it comes to confidence in Amorim, and that he continues to enjoy unwavering support from the club’s leadership.

United denied that the team lost confidence in Amorim and claimed he was still supported by the players.

However, fans were left shocked by the team’s weak surrender at Etihad Stadium, and many believed they were lucky to escape in a 3-0 defeat.

United secured a victory in just one of the campaigns, demanding a slow penalty to overcome the newly estimated Burnley, and was knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League 2’s Grimsby Town.

Following a 15th place finish in 50 years, Amorim desperately needed a robust beginning to a fresh season, but it’s been awfully short.

Though he has only secured eight wins in his 31 Premier League matches, Amorim, the worst United four-point start since 1992, has received much support in the transfer market.

This summer, United jumped nearly £236 million to strengthen his team. But many of their expensive new signatures have yet to have a major impact. Meanwhile, Amorim remains immovable in his tactical approach and formation.

United icon Wayne Rooney has expressed concern over the team’s performance under Amorim, who took over from Eric Hagg 10 months ago.

Speaking to BBC Sports, Rooney said, “It’s hard to see how it goes on,” and “I don’t think anyone can understand and understand what’s going on. Frankly, that’s not enough.

“I want to be as supportive and positive as I can be with my manager and player, but it’s very difficult to say I’m sitting here and watching progress, and at least I’m looking at what will have results in the near future.

“When Ten Hag was fired and Ruben came in, we were hearing how they play and how it would change. If the manager is honest with themselves, I think it’s getting worse.”
