James Madison could be at risk of punishment from the free agency after Tottenham took umpire Jar Gillett to social media to explode following the controversial decision in a clash with West Ham United on Saturday evening. The Spurs thought Christian Romero took the lead midway through the first half as he nodded to the house from a corner kick.
Gillett quickly ruled the goal, and while being checked by Val, Stockley Park chose to stick to the original decision of the judge. However, Tottenham players and fans were furious at the decision and were able to call social media to criticize them.
