The Gunners midfielder began a Premier League fixture featured in both Norwegian matches during an international break, but was kicked out of the pitch in the 18th minute.
Odegard appeared to land awkwardly on his shoulder after crashing at the edge of the box along with Forest Star Morgan Gibbs White in eight minutes.
The 26-year-old initially tried to keep him on the pitch, but he was eventually replaced by Arsenal teammate Ethan Nuwaneri.
“I think it’s the same shoulder that he hurt last time,” Arteta said at a post-game press conference. “He was just too uncomfortable.

“He played with his national team, so that’s a shame.
“He felt good and something happened again.
“He’s going to do everything to get ready for Tuesday, I guarantee that to you, but I don’t know (whether he’s ready or not).”
This was not the first time Odegaard was kicked off the pitch due to an injury during the 2025/2026 campaign.
The Arsenal skipper was injured in August during a 5-0 victory over Leeds United.
Odegaard didn’t have enough pitches in the first half of his match with the Emirates, which led to him starting a clash with Liverpool on the bench.

He was also part of Arsenal’s injury crisis, performing seven Premier League fixtures in a row for ankle sprain between September and November 2024.
Odegard helped him take a big step towards qualifying for the FIFA World Cup, scoring a goal in a 11-1 victory over Moldova after starting Norway’s 1-0 victory in Finland.
Arsenal cruised to a victory over Forest despite Odegard’s injuries.
Martin Zubimendi led his team with a great volley in the 32nd minute.
Then, after halftime, two of Arsenal’s summer signatures linked to double the home side lead.
Eberechi Eze chose Viktor Gyoker in the center of the box, and the previous Sports CP striker made no mistake.
Zubimendi recorded one second with 11 minutes left, finishing the victory and retaining all three points in North London.
Arsenal enjoyed an impressive start to the season, beating Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford before a victory over Leeds in the Emirates.
But their title hopes were hit when they led to a 1-0 loss with Liverpool at Anfield in the final match before the international break.
