Preparations for the upcoming match against the Newcastle wolves deal with the double injury setback. Magpies have returned from international missions with the injury of Dr. Congo, without signing Joane Wissa. The former Brentford player was forced to leave the pitch earlier this week 16 minutes before the end of the World Cup qualifiers against Senegal.
Wissa is currently dealing with a knee injury, but until consulting with an expert, manager Eddie Howe said it was impossible to predict the duration of his absence. Wissa reported to Benton yesterday, but Howe confirmed that the new star signature is not available for wolves matches.
At today’s press conference, Eddie Howe said: “He doesn’t play this game. He feels the effects of his injuries.
Despite leading the team 2-1 before halftime at Kinshasha, Wissa’s efforts were in vain as they were ultimately defeated.
