Erling Haaland believes Manchester City’s start in the 2025/2026 season was “not enough” ahead of the Manchester Derby.
And Haaland believes the Manchester Derby is a great opportunity for City to change the season.
“We lost two games in a row, but that’s not enough. It’s too bad,” the city striker told Viaplay.
“We need to get it and go back to how to win. We have so many good teams that we can’t afford to lose the game.

“It’s perfect to turn things around against United. We’re at the best of everything, we’re at the best of everything, we’ve been going on and we’ve been not enough before, so we all have to do our best, get our **** and get things going.”
City may have struggled this season, but Haaland was still clinical in front of the goal.
The 25-year-old has already registered three goals in his three Premier League appearances.
The difficult start of the season came in 13th place in the Premier League table.
Haaland hopes City will use the recent defeat experience as motivation in the Manchester Derby.
“Losing isn’t cool. It’s annoying. You need to use it on something positive,” he added.
“We hope we will be motivated to make our next game better.
“We need to use the rage within us on the pitch and deliver at the highest level.”
