Riot police rushed into the crowd after trouble flares up in the stands during an English match against Serbia. The incident occurred in the home section of Belgrade Stadium, quite a distance from where the visiting fans were located.

ITV commentator Sam Matterface aired on the news live and said “there is a flow of riot police running into crowd homes.” He further reported that although the footage on television did not capture the incident, authorities had to lift the child when they rushed to the scene.

Pitchside reporter Gabriel Clark explained that the interference was due to political discrepancies. “The interference happened in the main stands and I was rather anxious for a few minutes,” he said.

“Several Serbs came across that position. The family was involved. Some children had to move on.

“It was a Serbian fan debating between himself. It was politically charged, professional and anti-government.

“The police moved and calmed the situation down.” Thankfully there were no reports of serious injuries.

Serbia is currently experiencing significant political unrest over controversial President Alexander Vicz. The government is so divisive that Serbian national team manager Dragan Stoikovic was booed as he emerged from the tunnel before kickoff due to his attitude towards the situation.

Many Serb cities have witnessed a series of protests calling for an immediate election to drive President Vicz away. Last November, 16 individuals tragically lost their lives.

England won against Serbia courtesy of goals from Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Ezri Konsa and Mark Guech, and a penalty netted by Marcus Rashford.
