Man Utd’Plan is a midweek friendly overseas during the season with a dramatic money-making scheme | soccer | sports

Reports show Manchester United have been able to look to their best friends mid-week this season to raise money if not for European football. Red Devils missed out on important revenue after failing to qualify for any of the UEFA competitions. Last season, they were unable to secure a payday of £100 million as they lost to Tottenham in the Europa League final.

As a result of their shortcomings last season, United’s mid-week fixture schedule is now unusually clear. The recent defeat to Grimsby Town at the Carabao Cup means they will play an additional week of afternoon games between now and Christmas. The United Chiefs are said to be considering using extra prep time to make money by scheduling friendly matches for the mid-season.

According to The Sun, club executives are evaluating the possibility of facing several top European aspects of income-generating equipment played overseas.

United reportedly can set up matches against AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Sevilla and Lazio in the coming weeks. All four clubs were unable to qualify for European football at the end of last season.

The Red Devils can benefit from the extra money they generate by playing those matches in places like the Middle East. They reportedly generated more than £16 million when they traveled to Asia and the US during the preseason.

Since taking control at United, Ir Jim Ratcliffe has begun crackdowns on unnecessary spending. His cost-cutting mission includes hundreds of redundancy, but certain privileges for the remaining staff have been completely reduced or forbidden.

Ratcliffe previously told the Guardian that United would have stopped existing without measures to save his brutal money. That’s despite the Red Devils spending more than £226 million on new players during the summer transfer.

Meanwhile, Reuben Amorim is also argued that he is also considering bringing players to build a team on vacation.

He reportedly believes spending time in the Algarve or the Middle East will allow United’s struggling star to build greater trust and strengthen connections on the pitch.

Amorim repeatedly emphasizes the importance of having a strong team spirit at the start of the campaign.

“We suffer together and it can bring people together. The spirit is really good. When you feel that the team is playing well, you have confidence and you can play more freely.

“If you can play more freely, you’re happy. If you’re happy, your days are better, it’s like a snowman.”
