Nottingham Forest disabled airbags while driving 100mph towards brick wall | Soccer | Sports

You’ve all heard the phrase “It’s like watching a car accident in slow motion.” Well, the last 24 hours at Nottingham Forest were like that, but Evangelos Marinakis is behind the wheels, already disabling the airbag, and is spikeping towards the brick wall at 100 mph.

Forest has established itself as a Premier League reality TV club. If their next addition is the voice of Ian Sterling to speak of their events, that wouldn’t be so surprising. Why not ask fans to decide which direction they want to vote while the club is in it? It’s hard to imagine the outcome being more ridiculous than what’s happening right now.

Looting managers who took the forest into European qualifications from relegation scrap is the latest head hit decision made by the Forest Big Wigs. But in a way, that’s not entirely surprising.

The treaty is simply seen as a concept of the controversial owner world of the forest. The East Midlands outfit was when he hired former Premier League official Mark Krattenberg last year as a referee analyst (whatever it was). And again, Forest (probably after consultations with umpire Rasputin) issued a fiery statement criticizing Anthony Taylor after his April 2024 defeat against Everton.

Marinakis raised her eyebrows once again when she saw him stand up to Nuno shortly after the forest draw with Leicester City, which has already been involved in the back end last season. And the less said about his rather offensive interview with Morgan Gibbs White, the better.

But it may be the most infuriating decision of all of them, throwing away Nuno to lead Ange Postecoglou into the 2025/26 Premier League season. Postecoglou has won the Spurs team on the wage bill, reportedly being the sixth largest in the Premier League, and last year marked the 17th.

Australians quickly add that they are responsible for finishing Tottenham’s 17-year wait time with the trophy. But it only compensated for his tactically inflexible match approach and handbrake-off style play, taking into account as many Spurs players as possible and as many Spurs players as possible. That’s what he does, mate.

It’s hard to imagine a Post Coglue being long enough to make friends in Nottingham. This is the flammability of this administrative appointment. Just a little bit of a way, just madness at all.
