Alexander Isaac is expected to be a big deal after winning £125 million for Liverpool on the deadline, but his arrival could cause difficulties for fellow new forward Hugo Ekitike
Liverpool star Hugo Ekitike has been warned by Florent Malouda that he must “adjust” after Alexander Isak arrives at Anfield.
The Frenchman was expected to become Liverpool’s first choice striker this season, signing from Aintrak Frankfurt for around £79 million this summer.
However, Liverpool is expected to jump to £155 million in the UK transfer record at Isaac during the desperate deadline, with the former Newcastle star expected to move ahead of Ekitique in the pecking order.
Ekitike has launched all of Liverpool’s first three Premier League games this season, having hits so far and supported one time by scoring two goals.
However, as Isaac places himself as the first option under the threat, Ekitique’s fellow Frenchman Marudas gave him some advice to help him stay with the team.

Speaking to Boyle Sports, Maruda said:
“You’re always in your favorite position, but in modern football there is also a defensive part of the game where you need to be involved.
“It won’t stop you from being at your highest level. It’s hard to get, especially for younger players, so you have to give to the team first.
“It’s not a position, and by creating relationships with players around you, he’s a natural goal scorer and he’s got a chance to score.
“He is a real threat and he has this experience in PSG with many stars, so he knows how to navigate in a dressing room full of stars. But his main thing is that he wants to be on the pitch.
There are high hopes for ISAK to deliver Liverpool’s goals to maintain their Premier League title after scoring 23 goals last season. Ekitike could be selected if ISAK is installed as the first choice striker and a 23-year-old can play on the wing.
