Reuben Amorim is not ashamed to bring young players to his Manchester United team.
Manchester United boss Reuben Amorim was able to integrate youth Louis Bennett into the first team after the players were unable to seal off the loan move.
The 21-year-old defender spent time on loan at Fleetwoodtown last season and was turned over to break into a senior team in the near future.
He was expected to play in a higher division this season after gaining experience in League Two last season, but remains at Carrington after the summer transfer period ended.
The loan move was “the most logical option” for Bennett, but it’s not surprising he began training with his first team.
He adds that he is “over-academia football,” and that he is ready for the next step after staff said “Rhys has set his sights high.”

The quote could be directed at breaking into Amorim’s group this season, according to the report, saying he is aiming for his Red Devils debut this season, previously trained with his first team during preseason training camp.
The Portuguese boss is known for bringing young people to their first team after doing so with Toby Collie, Tyler Fredrickson, Amado, Chido Obi and Harry Amas.
Despite the influx of new signatures that arrived this summer, Amorim still nominated Fredrickson on the bench with Arsenal and Fulham.
Fredrickson was given the opportunity to Grimsbytown last month to begin the defeat of United’s Shock Carabao Cup, but was engrossed at halftime and Bennett felt the opportunity to replace him with Amorim’s idea.
He played 38 times in all Fleetwood tournaments last season, scoring once as the team finished 14th.
Bennett has real hope after captaining Manchester United under Manchester United, who won the FA Youth Cup in 2022.
Last season, Bennett said his experience competing for points in League Two taught him a lot and added a big string to his bow in terms of playing under pressure.
