Liverpool already has the perfect alternative to Mark Guech. There are reports claiming that plans are already in place to re-sign former star Jarel Quanza. The Reds Academy alumni left Anfield in the summer and moved to Bayer Lebakusen, which is £35 million.

And that requires Liverpool to need a potential replacement. Guehi collapsed on the deadline day, but Crystal Palace was unable to find a replacement, but was identified as the person.

Quansah’s ultimate successor to Anfield could actually become Quansah himself. On the deal that took him to Germany, Liverpool managed to become a slot with a buyback clause that would become active in the summer of 2027.

The Reds will then have the opportunity to bring the defender back to Merseyside for a £51 million fee, according to the Liverpool Echo. By then, he is in the middle of a five-year contract he signed with Leverkusen.

It is suggested that Quansah has already agreed to personal terms with Liverpool as he sees him sign a new, improved contract. Quansah, 22, has already appeared on his new side three times, scoring in his debut. However, he is now finding himself without a manager following the looting of Erik Ten Hag.

“From the moment I walked the door to the academy at age 5, I dreamed of wearing a Liverpool shirt at Anfield. 17 years later, I can now say I lived that dream,” Quansa posted shortly after the Liverpool exit was announced.

“Thank you to my teammates for welcoming me, pushing me, and trusting me. I have learned a lot from sharing the pitch and dressing room with such wonderful people and will never forget the incredible memories we had.

“For staff, coaches and everyone behind the scenes, your beliefs and dedication have always been a source of constant motivation. You have helped me grow not only as a footballer, but as a person.

“And for fans, your support has always been unparalleled. Whether you’re Anfield or away from home, or hearing you sing, you never fail to inspire me.

“Liverpool always holds a special place in my heart. It’s not just a club. It’s a family! This is goodbye for now, but I’m always watching – once red, always red.”

Away from Cuanza, Liverpool has pushed another plan for the future this summer as they signed Palma’s promising Italian defender Giovanni Leoni. He is believed to have cost him around £26 million.
