The Premier League has been forced to adjust six equipment after UEFA announced its Champions League, Europa League and Conference League schedules on Saturday

More than half of Premier League clubs are affected by the latest fixture corrections – in one case, supporters are given notifications for less than three weeks. The Top Flight Chief announced six fixture changes as a result of UEFA’s calendar announcements on Saturday morning, affecting the diaries of six clubs.

Nine English teams this season are taking part in the European competition. Six are in the Champions League, two are in the Europa League and one is in the Conference League. The draws in the league stages of each competition took place last week, and UEFA’s announcement forced the Premier League to change the dates and/or kickoff times for six domestic matches.

Firstly, Newcastle’s Thursday night clash forced a trip to Bournemouth until 2pm on Sunday, September 21st, due to a clash with Barcelona in the Champions League later this month, and was previously scheduled for 3pm.

The following weekend, Tottenham will hold the wolves on Saturday, September 21st at 8pm. That game moved to Norway’s Bod/Grimt following Tuesday with the Spurs’ participation in the Champions League.

It will be a home game against Aston Villa’s Fulham that will move to that slot at 2pm on Sunday, September 28th. This is because the villa will take part in Europa League Action the previous Thursday.

It’s a similar story for Everton and Crystal Palace. This will be played in the Conference League that Thursday, October 5th at 2pm on Sunday, October 5th. The Palace is the only club to change two equipment to face Arsenal on Sunday, October 26th at 2pm for European involvement.

Meanwhile, a trip to Brentford in Liverpool was pushed back from 12:30pm to 8pm on Saturday, October 25th. This comes from the Reds who played Aintrak Frankfurt in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Supporters expressed their dissatisfaction with the change as one wolf fan is grieving.

Should the Premier League be allowed to override UEFA’s decision? Please speak in the comments section.

Another member of Molineux pointed out that “K 8pm in London .. Accommodate travel fans again – Last Train 9.42.” The third asked, “How do you expect to come back after the Spurs game? Absolute banter @premierleague.”

Newcastle fans will not be satisfied with UEFA, which scheduled a match against Barca in the only week when Champions League fixtures will be played on Thursday. “Can anyone, like an outrageous time and date, a child or anything, come back to the day without disrupting their sleep or education?” advocates argued.

The Premier League announced: “As a result of participation in the UEFA Club Competition, any equipment changes from November 2025 to January 2026 will be confirmed at the same time as the broadcast selection for each month.”
