Antonio Conte shattered DJed Spence’s confidence shortly after Tottenham signed him in the summer of 2022, but now the fullback is shining and has been called by England
DJed Spence accused former Tottenham boss Antonio Conte of “shattering confidence.”
Tottenham defender Spence launched a stabbing attack on Conte, revealing that he holds “psychic notes” of all the managers who doubted him in his career.
Naples boss Conte revealed that, as the Italians said, when the Spurs bought him in the summer of 2022, Spence was not his signature.
Spence did not start one Premier League match under Conte before being loaned out to French club Rennes just five months later.

“I came into the club, and when I went there I was overpriced and almost crashed because of comments from the manager or not playing.
“I’m bustling, I’m going to sign Tottenham, so to hear such comments, it shatters your confidence a bit.
“But you know, I’m a fighter. So, whatever I can, I’ll do my best in everything I can. Fast forward, I’m here now, so I’m happy.
“I don’t particularly say I have a list or anything, but I certainly have mental notes from people who doubted me.
“It was obviously not good back then, but I feel like I don’t put any energy on that particular thing. I just have to be focused.
