Mark Guech was all set to complete the transfer deadline to Liverpool just to pull the plug that Crystal Palace moved in the 11th hour.
Mark Guech returned straight to training with England within 48 hours of his move to Liverpool collapse.
Crystal Palace captain Gehh prepared for the England doubleheader with Andorra and Serbia in the World Cup qualifiers, and was all laughing and smiling. Guehi sought medical care in Liverpool after a £35 million deal was agreed to move to champions.
However, the deal ended when the palace didn’t get enough from a defensive reinforcement standpoint, but ended up losing him for free next summer when his contract expired.
England boss Thomas Tuschel actually handed the entire team on Monday for the deadline.

“This is one of the reasons we called out players on Tuesday because we don’t have all of these mixed emotions,” Tuchel says. “They will be coming on Tuesday, so they have a day off.
“We didn’t want to go longer that week either, we wanted to streamline it for Saturday’s game and start training on Tuesday afternoon.
“But part of the decision was also to give them the issues of their transfer and the freedom to organize the transfer subjects that come in their path.
“So of course we’re interested. We need to know where we have to drive on the weekend.”
They reported on Tuesday and now have the rest of the week to prepare for the World Cup qualifying doubleheader.
Guehi is a key member of Tuchel’s World Cup plan and will play next week, facing Andorra at Villa Park on Saturday and travelling to Belgrade next Tuesday.
England trained all 25 players at St. George Park, and Laws McCabe and Zach Abbott of the U-20s pair were promoted to work with seniors.
