Manchester United reportedly reached an oral agreement with Turkish club Trabzonsporu to finance goalkeeper Andre Onana. The Cameroonian stopper has seen his position at risk after Senne Lanmens arrived from Royal Antwerp on a £18.4 million contract.
Onana has not started three United Premier League matches so far this season, with Altai Bayindeal on the rise. He was not even covered in glory, and after Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez was also considered for transfer deadline, Runmen was brought in on a long-term view.
Transfer Expert’s Fabrizio Romano claims he was surprised that the agreement between the two clubs would sign Onana on loan for the rest of the season. The 29-year-old has made a decision on whether he wants to leave for Turkey or continue to fight for his position at Old Trafford.
Having missed out on injuries for most of the pre-season, Onana vowed to stay and try to get back her number one jersey at first. However, he has been offered the first team football elsewhere.
United are not considered to be standing in the onana way if they want to leave in favor of Trabzonspor. Talksport claims that Onana is seriously considering accepting the proposal, and that both clubs are waiting for his response.

The English transfer window closed on Monday evening at 7pm, but the Turkish windows are open until Friday, September 12th, allowing the club to still do business to send players to the Turkish Super Rig.
However, teams such as Manchester City were forced to complete business with the Turkish side on Tuesday, as Ederson and Ilcagandogan and others will be included in the Champions League teams.
Trabzonspor, who is currently second at the table, has not competed in the European competition this season and has no factors to consider.
And with four goalkeepers on Reuben Amorim’s team, Onana was lined up to leave, leaving the Portuguese head coach with new boys, Rammen, Bay Indeal and Tom Heaton as campaign options.
“I’m extremely proud to be part of Manchester United, and that will make a real dream come true,” Ranmen said after sealing the deadline switch. The past few years have been an incredible journey, and now it has ended with an incredible destination, and hopefully the beginning of something special.
“You can feel the positive vibe that’s being created here. I know that in the coming years we can make a real impact with the club. I can’t wait to get to know my teammates and start working with Reuben and the coaching staff.
“This is the perfect place to continue to develop, grow with this exciting team and achieve my career goals.”
