England extended their lead at the top of Group K, and they comfortably won Andorra 2-0 in the World Cup qualifiers. Thomas Touchel’s team held the perfect record in four matches as they hope to book quickly for US, Mexico and Canada tournaments in next year’s tournament.

A unique goal from Christian Garcia gave the Villa Park host a 25-minute lead, with Noni Madueke’s charming cross heading to his own net by Andorra defender.

Declan Rice doubled the lead in the improved second half and met when the Villa Park host crashed into the area with Reese James’ perfect cross before he saw an adventurous victory.

Here, Express Sports will look at the England star against Andorra…

English Player Rating vs Andorra (4-2-3-1)

Goalkeeper

Jordan Pickford-6

There was little to do, but another clean sheet in the book holds Jordan Pickford in its position even more at its best before the World Cup.

defense

Reese James-8

We’ve made some of the smart crosses, England’s best offensive sources, including Rice’s header assist. He was sure to look as he was staked on his claim to fight Trent Alexander Arnold.

Marc Guehi -7

Addressing the small threat raised by Andorra, it’s a clear option for Tuchel’s first choice. There was no impact from his failed move to Liverpool, and Mark Guech was still as stable as ever.

Dan Byrne-6

A clear Andorra game plan to mark the other nine outfield players gave the ball plenty of time. He had to move his possessions more quickly and was given a late yellow card for his troubles.

Miles Lewis Skelly-6

An overwhelming night for a young Arsenal man who was expelled at his club at left back by Ricardo Calafioli. But while the spot does so much for the UK, Tino Libramento and DJed Spence are breathing through his neck.

Middle

Elliot Anderson-8

In his English debut, the Nottingham Forest midfielder saw the house completely and took responsibility for himself to make something happen. He should have scored from the range of points blanks, but an incredible save from Iker Alvarez somehow strayed from his efforts.

Declan Rice-7

Before arriving at the box, it had almost an impact before returning to James’ stunning cross, and seemed much more comfortable to take part in the attack.

Eberechi Eze -6

It may be linked to the new Arsenal teammate Lis, but it burns out from inside the box in an acre of space. He looked up and thanked him for seeing Rashford already flagged offside. I encourage people like Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Morgan Gibbs White to steal the 10th spot.

attack

Noni Maduke -8

It was one of his preferred more positive sparks on his right flank, and his cross led to the opening goal. The Arsenal man has proven to be a very capable agent for the club and the country’s Buka Yosaka, but his ambitions are undoubtedly much higher.

Harry Kane-5

It’s a rare quiet evening for the England captain who was unable to seriously test Andorra’s goalkeeper or take part in many of the plays.

Marcus Rashford-5

It got off to a bright start, but it declined as the game was on the way and after being handed a chance to redate by Chuchel, it struggled to improve the beer mullet. He would be disappointed that he didn’t hit the back of the net right after halftime, fired a wide effort from within the area after a hot dribble from Madueke. It took off after England got their second net.

Alternatives

Anthony Gordon (68′)-6

I arrived quickly on the scoresheet, but was hampered by another good Alvarez save.

Tino Livramento (68′)-7

He made a smart ball in the box and didn’t miss a step away when he swapped James with his right back to his fellow Morgan Rodgers. They appeared in the area to reach the end of Gibbs White’s cross, but somehow Ball escaped Harry Kane.

Morgan Rogers (68′)-7

He runs well on his tired feet and is eager to start with Serbia on Tuesday.

Ezri Konsa (76′)-6

After swapping Guehi, there were some impressive touches and was given a standing ovation at his home stadium.

Morgan Gibbs – White (78′)-6

It was paired well with Anthony Gordon and Madueke before making a late effort to the goalkeeper.
