Crystal Palace President Steve Parish left Marc Guech, annoyed by the transfer deadline when he pulled the plug of the club captain’s move to Liverpool in his final moments
Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish spoke in person with Mark Guech and his family after canceling the deadline to Liverpool. Parish pulled the plug on a £35 million contract at the final moments of the window.
The Eagles star was left in furious after watching a discussion to seal his dream while his dream transfer was delayed. According to Sky Sports, Selhurst Park Parish’s chief parish chose to suspend his contract with the truck at 4pm on Monday.
Liverpool submitted a trading sheet to carry out the transaction in cooperation with the 7pm deadline, but Guehi’s camp became frustrating as the palace chair was left to explain. Guehi reportedly was considering whether the club’s captain would resign following the annoying end of the window.
Glasner still wanted to see another central defender arrive before allowing Guehi to depart. But it initially did not appear to slow progress with the last day movement of the window.
The South London side signed the defender on the deadline day as Jaydie Canbot arrived from Toulouse, France. However, the 19-year-old was not considered a replacement for the palace captain.

Austrian coach, Grasner, who threatened to leave the club last weekend, said the palace should sell Gehi during closure hours.
“If you are selling Marks, there is an agreement that there is a suitable alternative, and we wanted to have this alternative at the beginning of the preseason.
“There are no replacements in the building. It is clear that some of the contracts are not met, meaning you cannot sell the mark.
“It’s not a wish or gift for Oliver Glasner, it’s necessary to play a successful season. It’s an attractive situation, but if you want to advance, we have to keep him.
Liverpool is expected to return to Guehi in January or next summer. The video paying homage to the defender’s time was filmed before his movement was cancelled.
Guehi is currently in England ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia. The 25-year-old returned to the palace as the Premier League returned for a clash with Sunderland, where he was once again expected that his manager and teammates would leave again.
