Man Utd can still complete the final summer transfer of Ruben Amorim | Football | Sports

Manchester United have time to complete another summer transfer despite the windows closing on Monday. It was a busy time for the Red Devils. The Red Devils have been strengthened in several key areas and trimmed several fringe players from their teams. Reuben Amorim wants a new signature that will soon gel as United are looking to return to the Premier League upstream.

United ultimately spent £216.8 million on five new signatures, with Benjamin Sesco the most expensive. He was joined by Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Senne Lammens and Diego Leon. A total of 12 players have left Old Trafford since the end of last season.

Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona on loan before Alejandro Garnacho completed a £40 million move to Chelsea after months of negotiations. Antony returned to the real Betis in a permanent deal while Jadon Sancho was loaned out to Aston Villa.

The only member of the “bomb squad” that could not secure travel was Tyrell Malacia, who is considered a surplus of United’s requirements.

The deadline has passed, but there is still time for the Dutch to secure movement elsewhere. The window remains open in several countries around the world, including Belgium, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.

Turkey could be a realistic destination for Malacia, with many Premier League players moving to the country in recent seasons. Meanwhile, one of the Saudi government-funded clubs may decide to get the opportunity to sign him.

Other options include Greece, Switzerland and Serbia, where teams from those countries can still recruit new players.

Given that Patrick Dolgue, Luke Shaw and Diego Leon like to feature in left-wing back roles, it seems unlikely that Malacia will get minutes of this season.

According to ESPN, United are still “exploring the exit route” for the defender suggests that a solution may be found over the next few days. However, there remains a slight possibility that he could be reintegrated into the first team group.

Amorim previously showed that if he doesn’t secure an exit in the summer he’ll be back as a member of his “bomb squad.”

Speaking before the season, the United manager said: “When the window closes, it’s a different history. When the window closes, you have to receive the player. And a new life and anything happens.”
