Chelsea loaned Mark Giu to Sunderland, a newly promoted Sunderland earlier this month, but the Bruce quickly recalls the Spanish striker after £30 million star Liam Dellup was injured.
Chelsea reminisced Mark Gyu just 26 days after joining Sunderland on loan. Bruce successfully negotiated GUIU’s return after new signature Liam Dellup suffered a hamstring injury.
The Spanish striker is scheduled to spend a season with Sunderland and scored his first goal for the Black Cats in the loss to the town of Huddersfield in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup. The 19-year-old Guiu made two more appearances in the Premier League.
However, Sunderland boss Regis Le Bliss will no longer be able to call up former Barcelona prospects who signed Chelsea on a £5 million move last summer. After Delap’s injury, Bruce contacted the newly promoted Sunderland to discuss the recall GUIU.
There was no recall clause in the club’s loan agreement, so Bruce had to negotiate a return to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea manages to do so, and Giu is back in London.
The 19-year-old’s loan is not the only deal that Chelsea has changed in light of Delap, who joined the Blues for £30 million in July. Nicholas Jackson is set to sign a Bayern Munich loan and was already in Germany on Saturday, when Chelsea beat Fulham 2-0.

Jackson’s departure has not been ruled out, but Newcastle is interested in a permanent switch, but the deal is off. Bavarian chief Max Ebal suggested that the deal could be revived by telling the German publication AZ:
As Bayern is considering alternative targets, Sunderland plans to introduce new strikers by the 7pm deadline on Monday. Ajax’s Bryan Brobbey has an agreement. BryanBrobbey will cost the first £17.3 million and £4.3 million with a potential add-on.

The Black Cat is also in the right-back market and agrees to sign Lutsharel Geertruida on an in-season loan from RB Leipzig. The deal includes the option to buy next summer, where Sunderland wants to secure top flight status.
