Paul Mason originally favored Arsenal in favor of this year’s Premier League, but Liverpool’s transfer business quickly changed his mind with the future champion

Paul Mason has stopped supporting former club Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season, and the former gunner puts eggs in Liverpool’s basket and believes they will hold the crown.

Mason corrected his vision as the final day of the summer window unfolded. For many, the Reds were the winners of the entire Premier League window after record spending by Hugo Ekitique, Florian Wiltz, Milos Kerkez and Jeremy Fripon. On the final day of the Window, after a huge tale between the club and the player, Liverpool ultimately scored their first target at Alexander Isaac in Newcastle.

Before the season began, Mason thought Arsenal could achieve the much-anticipated Premier League success. However, he appears to have changed his songs quite rapidly following Merseyside’s signature.

When asked if Liverpool was at the top of their list to win the league, the former England International said on Sky Sports:

“After I got (Isaac), I always weigh it against the league (after some time). When they went to Man United and won, I thought of Advantage Arsenal.

“For me, they haven’t come out of the second gear yet and have not played particularly well yet. I’ve seen the game yesterday and saw it yesterday. I’ve never seen an Arsenal team that’s very comfortable at Anfield.

“As Christian (the tracker) said, these are top players because they buy players to come to the team.”

The Reds added top talent to their teams from their strength status, spending a whopping £449 million on a single transfer window. It was a slow blow that missed Marc Guehi, with the centre-back probably in a light position with Boss Arne Slot.

So far, Liverpool has won three of three league titles, but it’s not as comfortable as many people think. Federico Chiesa restored his lead against Bournemouth on the first day until 88 minutes, and 16-year-old Rionugmoha restored an extra 10-minute time to secure a 3-2 victory at 10 Newcastle last week.

A stunning free kick from Dominik Szoboszlai in the 83rd minute secured all three points for the Reds against Arsenal, but these late winners show the resilience that often scored the sides of slots last season.

The Reds are the only team with a perfect record, and as a result, they head towards an international break where two points are cleared. The league leaders will then face a newly promoted trip to Burnley before their Champions League visit from the Merseyside Derby in Atletico Madrid and Anfield on September 20th.
