Manchester United are ready to cash out Alejandro Garnacho after the winger clarifies his plan, but there’s still work to do when it comes to Chelsea’s target
It is allegedly not ready to meet Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho’s evaluation. United have won £50 million at the asking price starting in January, but frontrunner Chelsea is not ready to be that high.
Garnacho has been keeping an eye on the unified exit since manager Reuben Amorim dropped him on the bench for the Europa League final in May. He was removed from Amorim’s pre-season tour team, but Argentina is still at Old Trafford for now while fellow “bomb squad” member Marcus Rashford seals off the loan move.
Chelsea’s ratings range between £25 million and £35 million, according to the email. It is believed that Bruce has agreed with a player who has reportedly declined interest from other locations.
According to the Times, United tried to justify their valuation by pointing out the sale of Chelsea’s Noni Madueke. Maduke, who scored six goals for Garnacho, scored six goals in a comparable league match last year, joining Arsenal in July with £48 million plus Add-Ons.
In the meantime, Chelsea are approaching sealing off their own exit. Roma reportedly close to Tyrique George’s contract, which broke through during last season’s conference league run but fell in an order that fell below the new signature Estevao and Jamie Gittens.

Garnacho is not the only United player who is keen to offload the club before Monday’s Premier League transfer deadline. Rasmus Hojlund looks set for Napoli, missing out on Amorim’s Squad’s location in the first two games of the new season.
Antony’s move to Real Betis is still possible, but the terms of the transaction have not yet been resolved. Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia are also surplus to the requirements, but finding buyers for either player can be difficult.
United are scheduled to face Grimsby in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, with the goal of their first victory of the season. After losing at home to Arsenal over the opening weekend, Emile Smith Low Equalizer denied Amorim’s side victory at Fulham.
“Yes. Yes. Yes. We have three games this week. We have high quality players. We need to rotate to win every game,” Amorim said when asked if he would spin in the cup tie.
He also indicated that Hojlund could serve as a feature despite ongoing speculation about the striker’s future, adding, “It’s available to all players. Then we choose to make the most of XI to win every game.”
