Premier League spending has passed through the roof this summer, with 20 clubs firing more than 3 billion pounds to sign new players. And arrival and departure were thicker and faster on the transfer deadline earlier this week.
Liverpool is aiming to retain the Premier League trophy this season after raiding the title during Arne Slot’s Maiden season. The Reds spent £450 million to sign on Florian Wharts and Hugo Ekichike, with Alexander Isaac finally arriving on Monday. Arsenal was a prolific spender this summer as they desperately tried to derail Liverpool’s title defense. Chelsea and Manchester United bring a lot of fresh talent. AFC Bournemouth – d
Bournemouth has gone through the door to get Jordi Petrovic, Bufford Deakite, Ben Ganon Doak and Andoni Iraora has a manager who can make the most of his players. However, they lose three best players at Illia Zabarnyi, Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen, and their departure could hit them hard. At least they managed to keep Antony Semeño.
Arsenal – a
Arsenal has one of the best summer transfer windows in the Premier League after snapping eight players. Viktor Gyoker, Eberechi Eze and Martin Zubimendi in particular could make the biggest difference, and it will be this season whether Arsenal will win the Premier League title with Mikel Arteta.
Aston Villa – d
Aston Villa was busy with the transfer deadline, and Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott arrived on loan after Victor Lindelof signed a permanent contract. However, Sancho has a big question mark, and Lindelof was released by struggling Manchester United. And it feels like an overwhelming window for the club as the Villa’s other summer arrivals have not been tested in the Premier League.
Brentford – e
The arrival of Premier League winners Caoimhin Kelleher and Jordan Henderson will also have an exciting talent and a positive impact. But losing three superstars in one window in the shape of Brian Mbeumo, Joane Wissa and Christian Norgaard reveals how difficult this season will be for honeybees.
Brighton – c
Brighton lost star player Joa Opedro to Chelsea this summer, with Simon Adingra and Pervis Estupinan moving ahead. But considering the gems Brighton has been excavated in the past, it gives confidence that summer signatures Maxim de Cuipers, Charalampos Costalas and Diego Coppola could thrive on the South Coast.

Burnley – b
Burnley lost James Trafford after Manchester City activated the buyback clause and re-signed the goalkeeper. However, Claret should be praised for replacing him with experienced shot stopper Martin Devravka. And the arrival of Kyle Walker, Jadon Anthony and Killingsey Hartman give the club hope to leave the relegation.
Chelsea – b
Chelsea is a gift that continues to give when it comes to transfers. Bruce once again baffled a lot of cash and brought in a lot of players. Pedro, Liam Delap and Alejandro Garnacho make a difference in the final third, with 18-year-old Estevao Willian already lit up the Premier League after finally landing in the UK. But will the addition of these players be enough to put Chelsea in the mix for Premier League honors? Probably not.
Crystal Palace – c
Crystal Palace was able to retain Mark Guehi on the transfer deadline the day after his move to Liverpool. But when you lose Starwinger Eze, your outlook will suffer. And all the Palace’s summer signatures, including Yeremy Pinot, Christantantus Uche and Jaydee Canvot, have not been proven in England. But if the manager is going to make the Eagles a success this season, it’s Oliver Glasner.
Everton – b
Everton boss David Moyes has proven he’s been a wise operator for the past few weeks, with Jack Grelish, Keenan Dewsbury Hall and Tyler taking on all Penning deals with Toffee. These are players who can make an immediate impact at Hildickinson Stadium. Grealish has been appointed four assists in his final two games, with Thierno Barry, Charly Alcaraz and Adam Aznou also joining the club, with Moyes happy with his transfer efforts.
Flam – e
Fulham has a quiet window and is the only player to arrive with Benjamin Recomte, Kevin and Johann Khushi Asare. And the cottage could struggle this season as they didn’t win three league matches.
Leeds – b
The Leeds are really aiming for that this season, and their spending over the summer shows they are eager to stay in the Premier League. White people have spent over £100 million on players, and 10 new faces have arrived at Elland Road. It remains to be seen whether Lucas Perry, Anton Stach, Gabriel Gudmundzson and experienced Premier League campaigners Sean Longstaff and Dominique Calvert Lewin will be able to keep the club on top flights.
Liverpool – A*
Liverpool enjoys perhaps the best summer transfer window in the Premier League, and after a successful season, the slots are backed by plenty of cash.
Isaac’s arrival on Monday concluded his fair share of summer business. Wirtz, Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong are likely to be better in the long run, with Reds snatching cash back by offloading Jarell Quansah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Kelleher. But they are hurt by the exit of Trent Alexander Arnold.
Manchester City – b
Manchester City had to refresh their team this summer, following their previous disastrous campaign. Tijjani Reijnders was impressed by the opening weekend of the season. Rayan Ait Nouli and Rayan Cherki are ready to make their own name in Manchester. And the addition of Gianluigi Donnaruma from Paris Saint-Germain is also a sharp business.
Manchester United – b
If Reuben Amorim can get things right, the signatures of Mateus Cunya and Brian Mbemo should revolutionize United’s offense this season. Benjamin Sesco may need time to get used to the Premier League, but the Red Devils Chiefs hope Sen Runmen can solve his goalkeeper problem. And many low-performing players are shipped as well.
Newcastle – c
Newcastle spent a great deal on the arrival of Anthony Elanga, Nick Ultemaid, Wissa, Malick Chiau and Jacob Ramsey. But can anyone make up for Isaac’s loss after his big hit move to Liverpool?
Nottingham Forest – b
Nottingham Forest is another club that is happy to spend money on players. They have 13 new faces this summer, including James McAtee, Dan Nudoi and Omali Hutchinson. But things seem to be tense at the club right now. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo will be discussing with owner Evangelos Marinakis during the international break.
Sunderland – b
Sunderland gave him as good shots as others promoted the side of staying in the Premier League, thanks to his efforts on the transfer front line. The club has spent more than £150 million, with players like Chemsdine Talbi, Brian Brobbey and Habib Diarra aiming to make a difference. Former Arsenal midfielder Granite Zaka will be the key to the team.
Tottenham – c
Thomas Frank has had to bring in new players and work since taking over the Tottenham boss. And Mohammed Kudus and Zabi Simons are influential in the final third. Joao Palhinha has proven that he can mix with the best in the Premier League in the past, but Kevin Danso and Luka Vuskovic can do the job.
West Ham – d
West Ham spent a huge amount of money in the transfer market but doesn’t seem to help them on the pitch as they were humbled in the opening two games before beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 over the weekend. Kudus’ departure didn’t help, but the arrival of El Hadji Malick Diouf, Mateus Fernandes and Mads Hermansen may ultimately pay off.
Wolves – e
The wolves could struggle this season following the exits of Cunha and Ait-Nouri. The permanent signatures of Fer Lopez, Jhon Arias, David Moller Wolfe and Tolu Arokodare could boost the team, but have not been tested in the UK.
