Newcastle United used just 37 words to confirm that after months of negotiations, Alexander Isaac has finally joined Liverpool. A huge hit was confirmed on Monday night, almost three hours after the deadline passed. Liverpool was able to complete it after submitting their trading sheet to the Premier League within the required time.

Magpies are set to set a new UK record, with the expected transfer fee of £125 million. They rejected the opening bid of £110 million in front of the window, and initially stated that Isak was not selling at any price. He responded by going on a strike and reportedly told the club’s chief that he would never play for Newcastle again.

The situation came to mind when ISAK issued a bomb statement. The Magpie later rebutted the claim, claiming that they had never made a pledge to the Swedish striker.

Liverpool returned to the table with an offer worth £125 million in the final time before the deadline. He traveled Monday morning to receive medical care and completed the procedure for a record-breaking move to Anfield.

Newcastle issued a dull statement to confirm that Isak has left the club and decided not to thank him for his three years of service.

The statement reads: “Newcastle United can announce the sale of striker Alexander Isaac to Liverpool with a key UK record transfer fee.

“Swedish International joined the Real Sociedad Magpie in 2022, making 109 appearances in all competitions.”

ISAK spoke to Liverpool’s official website after the contract was confirmed, highlighting his desire to win many trophies during his time at Anfield.

“It’s amazing,” he said. “It was a long journey to get here and I am very pleased to be part of this team, this club and all of the teams it represents.

“It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to, and I’m happy to be finished and get back to work. I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates and fans and coming back there.

“I think there’s a lot to do, I think there’s a lot to improve. I’m a striker, but I mainly want to give as much as possible to a team that’s above the goal.

Isak was able to make his debut for Liverpool when he faced Burnley at Turf Moor after an international break. He will now meet with his Swedish teammates for the World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Kosovo.
