The future of Alexander Isaac remains in the air, and it won’t take a week to go to the moving window as Newcastle strikers continue to push their way to Liverpool
Liverpool is ready to make a second bid for Alexander Isaac, but he is reluctant to do so if Newcastle is not likely to accept it. The Magpie had already rejected an offer of £110 million from Liverpool and tried to persuade him to stay in Isaac.
However, the striker accuses Newcastle of breaking the promise he made to him and asserts that he wants to leave for Liverpool this summer. “I kept quiet for a long time while others were talking,” Isaac said last week.
“That silence allowed people to push events at the event, even though they knew that they didn’t really reflect what they were told, but they knew they had agreed to it behind a closed room. The reality is that promises were made and the club has known my position for a long time.
“Now, behaving as if these issues are emerging is misleading. If the promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship cannot last.
Isaac met with the Newcastle chief on Monday to discuss his future, and the striker informed them that he had no desire to stay at St. James Park. ISAK is determined to continue on strike until they move to Liverpool or the transfer window is closed.

The report adds that Liverpool is reluctant to pay Newcastle’s £150 million ask price, but is ready to make another offer if it receives “encouragement” from the Magpie. However, Newcastle is said to have refused to sanction the move unless Liverpool meets their demands.
They also want to sign two new strikers before letting Isaac leave, but the final decision on the saga will be Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayan, who was present in Newcastle’s dramatic 3-2 defeat to Liverpool on Monday.
“I haven’t discussed this in a long time,” Newcastle boss Eddie Howe said after the match. “So I’ve prepared my team and I’ve given all the energy to players who want to play at Newcastle.
“I think that’s the best energy I have. I’m not a party of talks going on so I don’t know where it is. I want to be clear from our side, we want to move forward.
“We want the story to change at the beginning of this season because we’re so obsessed with action. We have to get results and we have to try and focus on what we can control.”
