Isak had his own say on the issue and explained the motivations for the move.
“I got the chance to participate in this, I want to make history, I want to win a trophy.
“It was ultimately my biggest motivation and I feel that this is the perfect place for me to grow further and take the game to the next level and help my team.
“I feel this is the next step in my career. I’m very happy to be given this opportunity and I want to do something well with it.”
Meanwhile, Isaac’s former teammate Anthony Gordon gave his finest wishes to the Swedes despite his unpleasant departure.
“It was a joy to play with you regardless of the situation and what happened,” Gordon wrote on Instagram. It’s one of the best chemicals I’ve had on the pitch and, more importantly, great people and teammates. I want nothing from you except the best brother. ”
