Alexander Isaac’s future will remain in the air to go to the transfer window within a week, but the Newcastle striker will soon return to Sweden
Alexander Isaac is set to return to action next week after being selected for the World Cup qualifying match between Sweden’s Slovenia and Kosovo. Isaac is currently training alone after missing out on Newcastle’s Asian preseason tour and is making it clear that he wants to join Liverpool.
The Reds have an offer of £110 million instead, rejected by Newcastle, who is valued Isaac at around £150 million. The striker escalated the situation last week when he accused Newcastle of breaking the promise he had made.
The club’s chief spoke with ISAK and Crunch on Monday to reach the resolution, informing them that he still wants to join Liverpool and is not interested in playing again for Newcastle.
Despite Isak’s lack of game time, Swedish boss Jon Dahl Tomasson has nominated the forwards on the team for upcoming qualifiers. Sweden is scheduled to face Slovenia on September 5 before meeting Kosovo on September 8th.
Isaac has been joined by many other Premier League stars, including Arsenal striker Victor Gyoker, Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergval and his Newcastle teammate Anthony Elanga.

When asked about his decision to choose Isaac, Thomason admitted that the ongoing story was “not perfect.” He said: “I am very pleased that Alexander Isaac wants to be on the team.
“The situation he is in is not perfect and he is not training with the team. But he is a player who can decide the game and he wants to be part of our team. The World Cup is important to Alexander Isaac.”
It takes less than a week to see what the future of ISAK holds. After a dramatic 3-2 defeat to Liverpool on Monday in Newcastle, Toon boss Eddie Howe said:
