With the transfer deadline approaching, Premier League clubs are making a crazy dash to complete their last minute deal. We have already witnessed several blockbuster transfers, including the record-breaking acquisition of Liverpool’s Florian Wiltz and the long-standing moves of Victor Guilyoker and Benjamin Sesco, but there’s still more business to implement.
A recent injury leaves some clubs still in mind, considering whether they will have to re-enter the market. Chelsea’s Liam Dellup is expected to be on the sidelines for a few weeks, but Manchester United are worried about the latest updates on Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount.
Top Flight clubs in England will need to confirm their new signatures until September 1st. This deadline is consistent across major European leagues, including Spain’s Laliga, Italy’s Serie A, and Germany’s Bundesliga.
However, there is still an opportunity to complete sales after this date, with Saudi Arabia’s League Window still open until September 10th, and Turkish Super Rigs closing in one day. Clubs have the option of signing free agents outside the window if they do not have a club by the deadline.
The team is cutting it off nicely with a Saturday deal featuring Newcastle’s capture of Nick Urtemed and the signature of Chelsea’s Alejandro Garnacho. Here we look at other potential deals that can still be realized.
Piero Hincapie (Bayer Leverkusen to Arsenal)
Hincapee’s move to Arsenal appears almost confirmed and could mark the Gunners’ final new signature. The deal is expected to be a loan with a permanent transfer option next summer. This is worth around £45 million.
The Ecuadorian defender will offer his new club options at centre-back or left-back. He was an unused replacement for Eric Ten Hag’s Bayer Levarkusen on Saturday.
Hincape’s arrival in north London is set to coincide with the departure of Jakub Kiwior. Polish International is poised to lend it to Porto and participate, with a promise to make the transition to Dragao permanent next summer.

Rasmus Hojlund (Manchester United to Naples)
Manchester United sold Garnacho on Saturday, ending one of the major transfer stories of the summer. While Hojlund’s switch to Napoli is approaching completion, Real Betis could continue with Antony and continue for more.
Danish striker Hoilund was pushed out by the arrival of Sesco. It is clear that he is not part of Reuben Amorim’s first team plan. AC Milan was linked in the first half of the window, but Napoli is now set to secure his signature and offer Champions League football.
The Reign Serie A champions will lend Hozilund, demanding that they be purchased at the end of the season. He arrived in Italy over the weekend and the announcement looked imminent.
Senne Lammens (Manchester United to Royal Antwerp)
United’s main focus is recruiting new goalkeepers after strengthening their offensive lineup before the start of the season. Altay Bayindir is a starter choice in the league, and Andre Onana has a role in the Carabao Cup, but neither of them are really impressed.
Belgian Stopper Sen Lammens and Aston Villa star Emi Martinez seem to be their number one choice. When Premier League experience is the main standard, Martinez is the preferred option, but Lammens represents a young outlook with great potential.
Galatasaray also shows interest in the Runmen, who are lacking in Antwerp’s final two league games. However, the Turkish club may end up signing Edason from Manchester City.
Alexander Isaac (Newcastle United to Liverpool)
The main transfer saga for windows, including ISAK, is reportedly approaching completion. Newcastle broke its transfer record with a £65 million signature from Stuttgart, but may need to go further before leaving ISAK.
Swedish star Isaac went missing again on Saturday, but Ultemaid was observed from the Leeds stands. Another goalless game highlights the need for newcastle’s additional firepower, but it appears unlikely that Isak will become part of their plans.

The top scorer last season revealed he believes his future will be somewhere else than St. James Park. A record-breaking bid from Liverpool — over £120 million including add-ons Newcastle rejected in front of the window — could still seal the deal.
Yoane Wissa (Brentford to Newcastle United)
Isak made his intentions clear early in the transfer window with an astonishing social media declaration, and now Wissa is following.
Newcastle is pursuing Brentford and he appears to believe an acceptable bid has already been submitted.
“I received a formal offer from another Premier League club and wanted to participate. Every conversation with Brentford gave me the impression that there was a different mutual agreement,” Wissa posted on Instagram.
“But once the windows are finished, the club is now significantly changing its position and opposes what has been told. This has put me in a difficult and frustrating position. The promise that I can leave this summer is not met, and I need to write it.
Mark Guech (Crystal Palace to Liverpool)
Beyond ISAK’s transfer, Liverpool has the business of completing the defense.
Giovanni Leoni has arrived from Parma, but Crystal Palace skipper Guegi brings the degree of experience that young Italians currently lack.
Guehi was featured for 90 minutes in the European competition on Thursday as he continues to deploy the England defender as usual while the palace waits for a resolution.
Eagles manager Oliver Glasner has debated the difficulty of securing a replacement despite his connection to Manuel Akanji, but Guech’s contract status could raise his deal at the end of the season and force him to decide on a London outfit.
“From my side he needs to be (still a Crystal Palace player) because he can’t find a replacement for Mark Guech that can play straight in the Premier League right now.
“When we saw the foundation of success over the past few months, it’s our defense… Mark is an important part. It’s almost impossible to get the right exchange now.”
Nicholas Jackson (Chelsea to Bayern Munich)
Jackson was poised to complete the loan switch to Bayern and travelled to Germany for the trip.
However, despite objections from his representative Diommany Kamala, the injury to Delap threw the striker Chelsea’s departure into doubt.
Senegal International, who has not appeared at Chelsea in the campaign, remains eager to switch to the Bundesliga.
A loan agreement with a purchase obligation or a full transfer, rather than a previously agreed loan, shows that the transfer is realised.
If Chelsea advances Jackson’s departure, Dellup’s fitness concerns are expected to push them up to pursue a new frontman.
Conrad Harder appeared as a potential target who scored or supported goals every 92 minutes in the previous term, while representing Sports CP Viktor Gyoker.
